Atajan Berdiyev was born in 1982 in Turkmenabat city of Lebap region. In 2000
he entered department of solo singers of special school of arts of Lebap region. After
completion Atajan Berdiyev began to work at the opera and drama theatre named after
Seyitnazar Seydi. In 2007, A.Berdiyev entered Turkmen National Conservatory.
As soon as he graduated from Conservatory with excellence, he starts to work as a teacher
on speciality of solo singing. A.Berdiyev has made great contribution to popularization of
Turkmen culture in the world by successful participation in various cultural events in
Turkmenistan and around the world. To be exact, he had a big success at performances in Russia,
France, Austria, Turkey, China, Romania, USA and other countries.
Besides, he successfully participates in national and foreign operas. Among
them: “Leyli-Majnun”, “Zohre-Tahyr”,”Shasenem-Garyp”,”Yusup-Zuleyha”,”Toska”,”Garahal Ayal” and others.
Having an exceptional timbre, Atajan Berdiyev is one of the popular singers. He is the winner of various musical
contests held in Turkmenistan.
